Women’s Cross Country Ranks Third At Pop Crowell Invitational

WENHAM, Mass. — The Endicott women's cross country team finished third overall out of eight teams at the Pop Crowell Invitational, hosted by Gordon College, on Saturday afternoon.

The University of New England (UNE) took home top honors with 51 points, while Gordon (74), Endicott (75), Salve Regina (78), Plymouth State (138), Emerson (150), Wentworth (165), and NHTI (214) followed in respective order.

Brianna am Ende (East Lyme, Conn.) and Julia Adrian (Noank, Conn.) highlighted the Gulls with top-10 finishes (6th — 24:25.1 | 8th — 24:49.1) on the 5-kilometer course. 

Meanwhile, Emma Johnson (Reading, Mass.), Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.), and Cate Herndon (Westwood, Mass.) followed in 16th (25:35.7), 22nd (26:44.7), and 23rd (26:46.9) overall, respectively.

  • The Gulls had eight student-athletes PR in today's race.
  • am Ende, Adrian, Johnson, Risko, Catherine Schultz (North Kingstown, R.I.), Gabrielle Page (Londonderry, N.H.), Makayla Vigneaux (Salisbury, Mass.), and Sarah Kiefer (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.) comprised the list.
  • Endicott averaged a time of 25:40 on the 5-kilometer course as a team.

Endicott competes at the Keene State Invitational on Saturday, October 1 at 10 AM.
