Lacroix, Rino, Spellman Headline Women's Lacrosse CCC All-Conference Selections

2019 CCC ALL-CONFERENCE RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's lacrosse team saw 11 members earn Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) All-Conference awards, as announced by the conference office on Friday morning. Three members garnered major awards as Jennifer Lacroix (Wrentham, Mass.) was named Offensive Player of the Year, Bella Rino (Northborough, Mass.) was selected as Defensive Player of the Year, and head coach Maureen Spellman was named Co-Coach of the Year. The team also picked up the Team Sportsmanship award.  

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR / ALL-CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM

Jennifer Lacroix | Jr. | A | Wrentham, Mass.

Lacroix has appeared in 17 games for the Gulls and amassed 51 goals and 14 assists for 65 points. In conference games only, she ranks fifth in goals (28) and fourth in points (37). Overall this year she has won 31 draw controls, picked up 16 ground balls, and caused 10 turnovers. This is Lacroix's second major award, as she was named 2017 CCC Rookie of the Year and this is the third year in a row that she has been named to the CCC All-Conference First Team. 

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR / ALL-CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM

Bella Rino | Sr. | GK | Northborough, Mass.

Rino has an overall record of 11-5 in net for the Gulls and went 7-0 in CCC play. Overall, she leads the conference in save percentage (49.5) and is second in goals-against average (8.99). Nationally, Rino ranks 39th in GAA and 51st in save percentage. This is Rino's second CCC Defensive Player of the Year award as she also won it in 2017 and this is the third year in a row that she has been named to the CCC All-Conference First Team. 

CO-COACH OF THE YEAR

Maureen Spellman

Spellman is in her second year as the head coach of the Gulls. During the 2019 season, she led Endicott an overall regular season record of 12-5 and to a perfect 8-0 in conference play for the second season in a row. In the last two years with Spellman at the helm, the Gulls have gone 26-9 overall and 16-0 in CCC play. 

CCC ALL-CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM

Meghan Dutchyshyn | Jr. | A | Cheshire, Conn.

Dutchyshyn has appeared in all 17 games for the Gulls so far this season and has recorded 32 goals and five assists for 37 points. She has also contributed seven ground balls and three caused turnovers. This is Dutchyshyn's second All-Conference selection in her career as she was named to the Second Team in 2018. 

Ali Campbell | Sr. | M | Lakeville, Mass.

Campbell had 13 goals and 19 assists for 32 points in 16 games played this season. She ranks third on the team in assists and has also contributed eight ground balls, three caused turnovers, and two draw controls this year. This is Campbell's first career All-Conference First Team selection but she was named to the Second Team in both 2017 and 2018 and to the Third Team in 2016. 

Maya Feigenbaum | So. | M | West Hartford, Conn. 

Feigenbaum compiled 19 goals and 20 assists for 39 points in 17 games for the Gulls. She ranks second in assists on the team and third in points. Feigenbaum has contributed greatly to draw controls and caused turnovers as she leads the team in both with 57 and 22, respectively. This is Feigenbaum's first CCC All-Conference selection. 

Talia Dellatto | Sr. | D | Andover, Mass. 

Dellatto was a key member of a strong Endicott defense that allowed only 29 goals against in conference play. She also contributed 20 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers throughout the regular season. This the second year in a row that Dellatto has been named to the CCC All-Conference First Team. She was also named to the Second Team in 2017. 

Samantha Jones | Jr. | D | Franklin, Mass.

Jones appeared in 16 games for the Gulls and was a key reason that Endicott finished conference play with the lowest goals against (29) in the CCC. She led the team in ground balls with 39 and also contributed 16 caused turnovers. This is Jones' first CCC All-Conference selection. 

CCC ALL-CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM

Jackie Healy | Sr. | A | Northborough, Mass.

Healy led the team in assists with 22 and also tallied 24 goals for a total of 46 points. Throughout the season she also added 13 ground balls, seven caused turnovers, and one draw control. This is Healy's second career CCC All-Conference selection as she was named to the Third Team in 2018.

Erin Gill | Sr. | D | Winchester, Mass.

Gill was an important member of a strong Endicott defense that allowed only 29 goals against in conference play during the regular season. She also picked up 18 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers. This is Gill's first career CCC All-Conference selection. 

CCC ALL-CONFERENCE THIRD TEAM

Gabriella Prisco | So. | M | West Haven, Conn.

Prisco tallied 11 goals and eight assists for 19 points during 16 regular season contests for the Gulls. She also contributed 41 draw controls, 24 ground balls, and 21 caused turnovers. This is Prisco's second career CCC All-Conference honor as she was named to the Second Team in 2018.  

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (12-5, 8-0) earned the No. 1 seed in the upcoming CCC Tournament and a bye to the semifinal round. The Gulls will host either Curry or Western New England on Tuesday, April 30 with the time to be determined.
