Beverly, MA - Endicott senior Christine Wilmott (Barre, VT) earned Commonwealth Coast Player of the Week Honors, as announced by the Conference on Monday. With the help of the Spaulding High School Graduate, the Gulls are off to a great start, winning their first two matches.
In a 15-8 victory against Keene State, Wilmott tallied seven goals and one assist. During EC's 20-1 win over Regis College, Wilmott notched one goal in limited playing time. In only 11 shots on net, she has scored eight, making her the leading scorer for the Gulls. "Christine's speed and quickness allows her to go to goal at any time," Head Coach Laura O'Neil commented. "She has the ability to pick the times to shoot or to pass it to a teammate in better shooting position."
Tomorrow, the women travel to Bristol, RI, taking on Roger Williams University. Game time is 4:00p.m.
