BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's basketball team welcomed Gordon College to MacDonald Gymnasium for the final contest of the regular season and the Fighting Scots came away with a close 62-60 victory.

Prior to the contest, the Gulls honored their two seniors, Catie Lipscomb (West Springfield, Mass.) and Emma Tierney (Wolfeboro, N.H.), for their hard work and dedication to the team. The Class of 2019 has collectively compiled a record of 64-43 in the last four seasons so far with three conference postseason appearances.

Gordon jumped out to an early 8-0 lead in the first 2:25 of play and stretched the advantage to as many as 17 points (34-17, 4:03 of second quarter). However, the Gulls battled back in the remainder of the second frame to cut the deficit to 34-27 at the half.

In the third quarter, Endicott went on a 10-0 run (6:33-3:39) to gain the 44-40 lead but the Fighting Scots managed to earn a slight 48-46 advantage to end the frame.

Both teams wouldn't go down without a fight and continued to battle throughout the fourth quarter but Gordon put together a 6-0 run in the final two minutes of play to secure the 62-60 win.

Emily Pratt (Gardner, Mass.) led all scorers with 26 points, while Brooke Dyson (Houston, Texas) and Abby Vampatella (Mansfield Center, Conn.) each recorded 17 points.
