SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Endicott freshman Austin Landry (Readfield, Maine) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week for his performance at the James Early Invitational last weekend.

Landry ran a personal best time of 27:25.33 on the 8-kilometer course at the James Early Invitational to finish 37th overall out of 373 runners, and first overall among CCC freshmen.

As a team, the Gulls finished 13th overall in the 38-team field for their highest placement at the James Early Invitational in program history.

Endicott travels to Boston, Mass. for a rare weekday race as they will compete at the Saints Invitational at Franklin Park. Following that, Endicott will have just over two weeks to prepare for the CCC Championships to be held on Saturday, October 31.
