SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Freshman Greg Payne (North Attleboro, Mass.) was awarded both the Runner and Rookie of the Week this week as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye on Tuesday. Payne helped pace the Endicott Gulls to a 2nd place finish in the Gordon Invitational held last Saturday.

Payne was able to take home a win in his first collegiate race by turning in an 8K time of 28:38. Payne outpaced 28 other runners in winning the race.

Payne looks to lead the Gulls when they head back on the trails this Saturday in Manchester, Conn. at Trinity College at 11:10 am.
