Men's Tennis Shuts Out Curry, 9-0

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott men's tennis team defeated Curry College, 9-0, on Saturday afternoon at the South Campus Courts. 

Prior to today's contest, senior Daniel Rinkert (Ben Lomond, Calif.) was honored for his contributions to the men's tennis program, and Endicott community in a senior day ceremony.

In doubles action, the Gulls earned a clean sweep. At No. 1 Rinkert and Collin Dinardo (Westport, Mass.), eased to an 8-0 win, at No. 2 Julian Richtarich (Westport, Conn.) and Zachary Lane (Rutland, Vt.) secured an 8-1 win, and Julian Coyle (Derry, N.H.) and Elijah Harris (Haverhill, Mass.) earned an 8-5 triumph at No. 3. 

Endicott continued that momentum into singles play earning a clean sweep through Rinkert (6-0,6-0 at No. 1), Richtarich (6-0, 6-2 at No. 2), Dinardo (6-1, 6-1 at No. 3), Harris (6-3, 6-1 at No. 4) and Lane (6-2, 6-2 at No. 5).

"Our men continue to play well, and we are excited for the matches next week," said Endicott men's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "We were glad to get a win for Daniel on Senior day, he's been an integral part of our program."

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott (5-4 3-1 CCC) will host Wentworth on Wednesday, April 28 at 3:30 PM. Curry (0-8, 0-3 CCC) will travel to Gordon on Wednesday, April 28 at 4 PM.
