SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Endicott men's rugby team earned its second victory of the season after defeating Western New England University on Saturday, 36-14.

In similar fashion, the Gulls had an array of scoring from various student-athletes throughout the match. Senior Jesse Adelberg (Old Greenwich, Conn.) led the way with two tries during, while classmates Nick Iavicoli (Kalispell, Mont.), Keenan Bassett (Lowell, Mass.), Marc Lerebours (Norwalk, Conn.), and John Clavin (North Providence, R.I.) all scored once as well. Sophomore Chris Faust also found pay dirt for the second week in a row to round out Endicott's scoring.

"We controlled possessions throughout the match and began to execute those possessions in the second half," said Endicott men's rugby head coach Dave Kenkel. "We also tackled extremely well for the second week in a row."

In their next matchup, Endicott will host the Yellow Jackets of American International College on Friday, September 29th at 7 PM.
