TCCC honors Lance Greene as Co-Player of the Week
Springfield, Mass. – Sophomore guard Lance Greene (Dorchester, Mass.) was a key factor in Endicott’s rise in the TCCC standings last week following victories over Roger Williams and Gordon and for his efforts, the conference recognized him as a Co-Player of the Week.

Greene, already the team’s leading scorer on the season, averaged 21.0 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 3.0 steals, 1.5 assists while shooting a blistering 78.9% (15-of-19) from the free throw line and 61.9% (13-of-21) from the field.

The Blue and Green improved to 13-6 overall, 5-2 in conference, after beating Roger Williams 68-62 and then exacting some revenge on Gordon following an early season defeat with a 77-62 triumph on the road.  Greene went for 19 points and seven rebounds against the Hawks before collecting 23 points on 7-of-13 shooting and a perfect 9-of-9 from the charity stripe against the Fighting Scots.

It marks the first time Greene has won Player of the Week honors from the TCCC in his young career after earning Rookie of the Week honors twice in his freshman campaign.

Endicott, winners of six of their last seven games, now move on to two crucial league match ups against conference co-leader Colby-Sawyer College and fellow 5-2 team Regis College this week. The Gulls take on the Chargers on Wednesday, February 2nd at 7:30 pm in Henniker, New Hampshire before hosting Regis on Saturday, February 5th at 3:00 pm.
