Magee earns rookie of the week honors

Springfield, Mass. – Freshman guard Lachlan Magee (Melbourne, Australia) has been named the The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) rookie of the week after guiding Endicott to a win over McDaniel in the opening round of the King’s Point Tournament.

Magee tallied a game-high 19 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the floor. The freshman also matched a career-high with seven rebounds in the Gulls’ 73-62 victory. With the win, Endicott will take on host United States Merchant Marine Academy on Monday (Jan. 3) at 6:00 pm.

Magee also tied a career-high with three 3-pointers and led the Gulls in scoring for the fourth time this season. Endicott (5-4) looks to win its third straight tonight against the Mariners.
