HAMILTON, Mass. - Endicott College tallied five unanswered goals in a come-from-behind win over the University of Maine on Saturday night in Hamilton, Mass. Endicott is now 3-0 on the season and has outscored its opponents at a 28-10 clip in the trio of victories.

The Black Bears got on the board first as forward Reid McLaughlin (Glenburn, Maine) notched a shorthanded goal just 5:12 into the game to give the visitors a quick 1-0 lead. The Gulls' defensive lapse lit a spark in the Endicott offense, as Greg Dorman (Merrimack, N.H.), Chris Linnehan (East Longmeadow, Mass.), Jeffrey Breault (Blackstone, Mass.) and Gregory Szkop (New Britain, Conn.) all responded with a goal before the end of the period, giving the hosts a 4-1 lead after one.

Freshman Jesse Hester (Raymond, N.H.) rallied the troops out of the intermission as he found the back of the net just one minute into the second for the 5-1 lead. From there, UMaine and Endicott traded goals to close out the second as the Black Bears' Tyler Richard (Lewiston, Maine) made it a three goal game with a tip-in off a shot from the point by Cullen O'Neil (Essex Junction, Vt.). Matthew Zimmerman (South Glastonbury, Conn.) got the goal right back as he buried a quick wrister off the left side, beating the netminder under his blocker arm to make it 6-2. Maine's James Tolan (Falmouth, Maine) and Tyler Richard (Lewiston, Maine) notched a power-play goal and an even strength tally to round out the scoring.

Endicott's Matt Murray (Billerica, Mass.) picked up his third straight win between the pipes for the Gulls. Endicott returns to action on Thursday evening as they travel to Durham, N.H. to meet the University of New Hampshire for an 8:00 p.m. face-off with the Wildcats.
