Women’s Cross Country Places 40th At NCAA DIII Regionals

GORHAM, Maine – The Endicott women's cross country team concluded its 2017 season with a 40th place finish out of 56 teams at the NCAA DIII Regionals on Saturday evening in cold and windy conditions. 

MIT won New England regionals with 58 points, while Tufts (92), Williams (106), Middlebury (113), and Bates (150) followed in respective order to round out the top-5 programs. 

For Endicott, Emma Farrington (Essex Junction, Vt.) led the Gulls with a time of 23:20.4 for a 96th place finish on the 6-kilometer course. Farrington was followed by Hannah Mason (Deerfield, N.H.), Haley Marek (Westhampton, Mass.), Laura Pomeroy (Windham, N.H.), and Brooke Robishaw (Ipswich, Mass.) as the remainder of the top-5 placed 210th (24:46.0), 256th (25:27.0), 261st (25:32.8), and 282nd (25:49.2), respectively. 

Meanwhile, Lauren Tocci (Shamong, N.J.) and Elise Regnier (Wrentham, Mass.) made up the remainder of Endicott's top-7 with times of 25:27.8 (291st) and 27:00.9 (326th).
