Women’s Cross Country Places Fourth At Bowdoin Invitational

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Endicott women's cross country team finished fourth out of eight teams at the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday afternoon. 

Bowdoin won the meet with a team score of 27 points, while St. Edward's finished second (33), and Southern Maine was third (101). Endicott followed in fourth with 110 points and Maine-Farmington rounded out the top-5 with 111 points. 

Individually, Emma Farrington (Essex Junction, Vt.) ranked 18th overall with a time of 24:36.3 (6:35.9 average mile) on the 6-kilometer layout. The Gulls then saw Abigail Keim (Williston, Vt.), Laura Pomeroy (Windham, N.H.), and Haley Marek (Westhampton, Mass.) place 24th (25:15.2), 25th (25:31.4), and 26th (25:39.2), respectively. 

Lauren Tocci (Shamong, N.J.) concluded Endicott's top-5 in 29th place overall (25:41.3). 

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott will compete at the All-New England Championships in Boston, Mass. at Franklin Park on Saturday, October 7.
