Women’s Ice Hockey Completes Third Period Comeback Against Suffolk, 2-1

EAST BOSTON, Mass. — Trailing 1-0 headed into the third period, the Endicott women's ice hockey team rallied past Suffolk University behind a pair of goals from Meaghan Francis (Woodbridge, Conn.) and Kat Keith (Westwood, Mass.) to defeat the Rams, 2-1, on Sunday evening.

Francis wasted little time finding the equalizer for the Gulls in the third as the junior forward netted her second goal of the season (7th career) just 10-seconds into play.

Keith then took advantage of Endicott's newfound momentum at the 12:03 mark when she buried her second career game-winner from the slot.

Both goals, which were unassisted, came as a result of excellent forechecking from the Gulls as a cohesive unit.

Meanwhile, after taking the lead midway through the third, Michaela O'Brien (Pembroke, Mass.) held true the rest of the way compiling three saves on six shots (1 - Blocked | 1 - Wide | 1 - Pipe) to secure the victory. O'Brien finished the contest with 25 saves to push her record to 3-0-0 on the season (8-0-0 career).
