Women's Ice Hockey Tops Suffolk, 2-1

Boston, Mass. – The Endicott women's ice hockey team earned their second win in as many days topping Suffolk, 2-1, on Sunday afternoon at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink. 

After The Rams opened up the scoring just over five minutes into the first period, The Gulls netted two unanswered goals to skate away with the one-goal triumph. 

The Endicott goals came through Jacy Kuhlman (Severna Park, Md.) and Meaghan Francis (Woodbridge, Conn.).

Meanwhile, in net, Bailey Thieben (North Syracuse, N.Y.) made a career-high 25 saves to earn her first win of the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE 

  • Dating back to last year, Kuhlman now has goals in three straight games for Endicott.
  • Thieben is now 4-0-0 in her Endicott career.
  • The Gulls have now won 10 in a row away from home.
  • Thieben has now made 20 or more saves in three of her four Endicott starts.
  • Tabitha Franceschini (Brick, N.J.) who earned an assist on Kuhlman's goal now has at least one point in three straight games.
