BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott softball team (17-2, 11-1 CCC) will host the Western New England (WNE) (16-6, 11-5 CCC) on Saturday for the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship starting at 12 and 3 PM. 

The two teams will play in a best two out of three format, if Saturday's game are split they will play on Sunday at 12 PM at Endicott, here is a preview of the series. 

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW 

• This will be the first meeting between Endicott and WNE this season.
• As a team, Endicott ranks first in the CCC in runs (187), home runs (23), RBI's (168), batting average (.379), on-base percentage (.453), slugging percentage (.573), ERA (1.91), shutouts (7), and batting average against (.236).
• WNE enters this weekend's contest ranked third in the CCC in slugging percentage (.457), third in ERA (3.48), third in home runs (17), and third in batting average against (.275). 
• This will be the seventh meeting between the two teams in the CCC Championship, Endicott holds a 4-2 record in the six previous matchups, but, the Golden Bears have won the last two. 
• The Gulls lead the all-time series over WNE 25-13. 

WHAT'S NEXT 

The winner of this weekend's series will earn the CCC's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Softball tournament.
