LAKE WALES, Fla. – Endicott men’s volleyball is down in Florida to take on four non-conference opponents starting with Warner Southern and Ramapo on Friday followed by Johnson & Wales-Denver and Stevens Tech on Saturday. 

Match One: Endicott 0, Warner Southern 3

Taking on the seventh-ranked team in all of NAIA on Friday morning, Endicott lost 3-0 (25-12, 25-11, 25-18) to Warner Southern to drop to 9-8 on the season. 

Junior right side Matt Devendorf (Glastonbury, Conn.) had a team-high six kills and senior setter Jeremy Schlosser (Emmaus, Pa.) dished out 16 assists to lead the Gulls.

Defensive specialists Aaron Jessee (Okinawa, Japan) and Andrew Slocum (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) did their best to counter a Warner attack that had a .387 hitting percentage with five and four digs, respectively. 

Freshman Thomas Stoeckinger (Malibu, Calif.), senior Jeremy Siden (Natick, Mass.), and sophomore Travis Netherton (Waukegan, Ill.) all chipped in with five, four and four kills each. 

Match Two: Endicott vs Ramapo, 5PM

The Gulls dropped their second match of the day 3-1 (17-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-20) to Ramapo, dropping to .500 for the first time since February 18th. 

Endicott continues competition on Saturday against Johnson & Wales-Denver and \#6 Stevens in Tampa, Florida.
