Joshua Bruno claims Endicott's first ever NECC Player of the Week award
BEVERLY, Mass. - Senior middle blocker Joshua Bruno (Andover, Mass.) became the first Endicott men's volleyball player to earn a weekly award from the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) as he took home Player of the Week honors following a 3-2 week for the Gulls.

Bruno, who in 15 sets played last week tallied 21 kills and 22 blocks with a .269 hitting percentage, helped the Blue and Green earn their first victory of the season, a 3-0 sweep over NECC opponent Newbury last Tuesday night.  The senior middle had six kills with no errors on eight attempts and blocked five total attacks at the net in the win.

Over the weekend at the MIT Invitational, Bruno had a solid performance against the \#9 nationally-ranked Rivier Raiders with six kills and two blocks.  He continued his dominating defensive play with five more blocks against Stevenson.

The Gulls hope to give head coach Tim Byram his 200th career win as coach of the men's volleyball program when they travel to Regis on Wednesday, February 15th for a 7:00 pm match.
