Siden and Stoeckinger sweep NECC honors
BEVERLY, Mass. - Senior captain Jeremy Siden (Natick, Mass.) and freshman middle Thomas Stoeckinger (Malibu, Calif.) claimed this week's New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) weekly honors after leading the Endicott men's volleyball team to a 2-0 week.  Both players earned their first weekly awards with Siden being named Player of the Week and Stoeckinger earning Rookie of the Week.

Eight of Siden's 11 kills on the week came against fellow undefeated conference rival Elms this past Saturday as the Gulls won 3-1 to remain unbeaten.  Siden also recorded eight digs, blocked four attacks, and had just two receptions errors in 32 attempts against a hard-serving Blazers squad.  Earlier in the week in just one set against Regis, he had three kills and four digs.

Siden now leads the Blue and Green with 91 kills in 12 matches with an average of 2.76 kills per set.

Stoeckinger recorded five blocks, four of which were assisted stops, against Elms on Saturday.  The Gulls had 15 total blocks as a team against the Blazers and Stoeckinger was a major part of the team's defensive efforts.  He now ranks second in the NECC in blocks per set (1.08).  Offensively, he had five kills against Elms and five kills against Regis earlier in the week.    Against the Pride, Stoeckinger also had five service aces which increased his team leading total to 13.
