Final Stats

BEVERLY, MA - Eric Booth (Belchertown, MA/Belchertown) scored the game wining goal on a direct kick to give Endicott a 2-1 overtime victory over Salve Regina University.

The Gulls and Seahawks played to a scoreless tie after the first 45-minutes of play. Salve Regina got on the board first when Michael DeNuzzo (Guilford, CT/Guilford) saved a goal by clearing the ball away from EC's net, unfortunately for the Gulls Nicholas Johnson (South Portland, ME/South Portland) was there to settle the ball and fire a shot that slipped past goalkeeper Cameron Twiss (Reading, MA/Bishop Fenwick).

It looked as though the Seahawks would escape Endicott Stadium with a 1-0 win, but Gabriel Moraga (Marlborough, CT/RHAM) would tie the game at 1-1 in the 84-minute. Moraga scored on the rebound of a shot by Pirapong Sirikietsoong (Bankok, Thailand) to keep EC alive and send the game in to overtime, allowing for Booth's heroics on a free kick to give the Gulls the win.

Endicott once again got solid play from Booth and Chris Croteau (Groveland, MA/Pentucket). The Gulls also got solid performances from Sirikietsoong, Pranam Lipinski (Adams, MA/Hoosac Valley) and Kyle Schmutte (Wilbraham, MA/Minnechaug Reg.)

EC has won three of its last four games and is starting to turn things around after this big win over the current CCC leading Seahawks. Endicott improves to 3-9 overall and 3-4 in the CCC. The Gulls next travel to Dudley, MA to take on the Nichols College Bison before returning home for their final four games of the season
