Endicott Moves Up to Sixth in USILA Coaches' Poll

PERRY, N.Y. – The Endicott men's lacrosse team rose three spots in #6 in the USILA Division III Coaches' Poll on Monday after posting two wins last week over Connecticut College and Springfield at home. The weekly national top-20 poll saw one major shakeup in the rankings after #17 Gettysburg upset #3 Lynchburg 7-6 to send the Hornets back to the #10 position heading into their matchup with the Gulls on Tuesday.

Endicott's (4-0) stock could rise even further one week from today as the Gulls have two top-10 games on the docket starting with #10 Lynchburg (2-1) on Tuesday, March 10th at 4:00 p.m. inside Endicott Stadium followed by a road game at #9 Amherst (3-0) on Friday evening at 5:00 p.m.

Other key top-20 matchups this week include #2 RIT (3-0) at #7 Cortland (0-1) and #8 Gettysburg (3-0) at home versus #16 York (2-2).

In the NEILA regional poll, the Gulls held their position behind Tufts and ahead of Amherst in the New England rankings. Fellow CCC schools Western New England and Roger Williams remained in the NEILA Top-10 at the ninth and 10th spots.
