Senior Men's Lacrosse Players to Represent Endicott in All-Star Games

PERRY, N.Y. – Though they have played in their final impactful game of their collegiate careers, several of Endicott men's lacrosse seniors have been invited to compete in both the USILA Division III North-South Game as well as the NEILA East-West All-Star Game as an opportunity to represent their institution and be recognized for their career achievements.

The USILA North-South Game will be played on Friday, May 22nd at 5:30 p.m. on the campus of Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa. which leads into Sunday's NCAA National Championship between Lynchburg and Tufts. The NEILA East-West All-Star Game is scheduled for Friday, May 29th at 7:00 p.m. on the campus of Springfield College at Stagg Field.

Representing Endicott for the USILA North Team are midfielder Harrison Cotter (Lordship, Conn.), long-stick midfielder Ian Knechtle (New Canaan, Conn.), and attacker Kyle Weber (West Hartford, Conn.). All three of these seniors were recognized as USILA All-American Honorable Mention players in their final seasons while Cotter added USILA Scholar All-American honors. Cotter accumulated 52 points via 33 goals and 19 assists with 45 groundballs and 10 caused turnovers in 2015 while Weber led the Gulls in scoring with 59 goals, 11 man-up, and with nine assists finished with a career-high 68 points as a senior. Weber also had 47 groundballs and 13 caused turnovers. Knechtle's second and final campaign with his Endicott teammates ended with 37 caused turnovers and 88 groundballs while contributing offensively with two goals and three assists.

Cotter, Knechtle, three other seniors, and assistant coach Eric Hagarty will represent Endicott at the NEILA East-West Game. Hagarty will serve on the coaching staff along with Chris Marmiani (Bentley) and Nick MacMahon (U of New England). CCC Offensive Player of the Year Nick Pinciaro (Beverly, Mass.), ended his career by reaching the 200-point plateau with a 55-goal, 23-assist season. Pinciaro will be joined by senior midfielders Jonathan Morgan (Lake Panamoka, N.Y.) and Joshua Tordik (Sayville, N.Y.) who finished with 28 and 24 points, respectively, in 2015. Morgan scored 19 goals with nine assists while Tordik netted 16 goals with 15 assists.
