Pinciaro Named CCC Offensive Player of the Week Following 14 Point Week

CCC Athletes of the Week - Week Ending March 22nd

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.-  For his part in helping the Endicott men's lacrosse team to a 1-1 record on the week, senior attackman Nick Pinciaro (Beverly, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.  Pinciaro tallied 13 points (nine goals, four assists) in the two games while also picking up five ground balls and causing four turnovers.  Endicott Fell to #17 Middlebury 11-10 early in the week before rebounding with a 23-4 win over CCC foe Salve Regina to move to 6-2 (2-0) on the season.

In the Gulls' first contest, Pinciaro scored two goals and recorded one ground ball and one caused turnover on the day.  The two goals came on five shots and were second on the team.  Against Salve Regina, Pinciaro tied an Endicott single game record with 11 points as he netted seven goals to go along with four assists. 

For the week, Pinciaro recorded nine goals on 15 shots for a .600 shot percentage.  Of his 15 shots, 10 were on goal.  The senior is now second on the team in goals (24), assists (10) and points (34).  Pinciaro and the rest of the team are now off until Tuesday, the 31st when they travel to Wentworth for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
