Norley takes TCCC Rookie of the Week
BEVERLY, Mass. – Freshman libero \#Ashley Norley\# (Sudbury, Mass.) was named The Commonwealth Coast Conference’s Rookie of the Week, as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye on Monday. Norley played stellar defense last week for the Gulls, who faced one of the toughest stretches in their schedule with games against Wesleyan, Williams, Smith, Vassar and Wellesley College.

Norley averaged 3.83 digs per set in a 2-3 overall week for the Blue and Green. The rookie registered double-digit digs on three separate occasions, including a remarkable 30 digs in a five-set victory over the fourth-ranked team in New York, Vassar College. Norley had 16 digs in a loss to a talented Williams team, and also posted 10 digs in a four-set loss to Wesleyan. In total, Norley had 69 digs in 18 sets for the Blue and Green.

Endicott returns to work on Wednesday night when the Gulls jump back into TCCC play with a home matchup against Wentworth. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Beverly, Mass.
