SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — The Endicott women's rugby team won the North Atlantic Collegiate Rugby (NACR) Qualifier on Saturday evening.
The Gulls defeated Wellesley (22-0) and Niagra (27-7) in pool play, before securing victories against Cortland (22-5) and Yale (17-12) in the semifinals and championship rounds.
Colleen Mitchell (Glastonbury, Conn.) earned the Tournament Game Ball for scoring five tries and making crucial defensive plays both around the ruck and out wide.
