Women’s Rugby Finishes Seventh At NCR Nationals

BOYDS, Md. — The Endicott women's rugby team placed seventh overall at the National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) 7s Small College National Championships this weekend.

The Gulls began play on Saturday with a dominant 38-5 win over Sewanee.

Endicott dropped its next contest to Yale, 17-7, and suffered another tight setback to Siena, 17-14.

On Sunday, the Gulls bounced back in the seventh place matchup against Missouri S&T, 12-5.

Yale also went on to defeat Gannon, 31-7, in the Women's Small College final to win its first national title in program history.
