BEVERLY, Mass. – The No. 12 Endicott women's ice hockey team defeated Curry, 3-0, in conference action on Saturday evening at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.
After a scoreless first period, Payton Hansen (Spring City, Pa.) put the Gulls on the scoreboard just 1:28 in the second frame when she fired a bouncing puck toward the net from the neutral zone that snuck in past Curry's netminder.
A defensive matchup played out the rest of the way until Endicott potted two empty net tallies via Teaghan Hall (West Springfield, Mass.) and Maddie DiNardo (Topsfield, Mass.) at the 18:35 and 19:37 marks, respectively, to put the game away.
In goal, Celia Dahl (Orono, Minn.) earned her first career win and shutout with a 16-save performance between the pipes.
