  • Gulls Postseason Run Comes to an End in the CCC Semifinals

    MILTON, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team traveled to Curry on Thursday evening for the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Semifinals. Despite a team high 10 points from junior Kelsey Cuddy (Madison, Conn.) the Colonels had three starters in double figures to secure a spot in the CCC Finals with the 66-49 victory over Endicott. The Gulls wrap up the season at 12-15 (7-11 CCC) while Curry will advance to the title game at 17-10 (12-6 CCC) to compete with the winner of University of New England vs. Western New England.
  • Gulls Upset Roger Williams for Spot in CCC Semifinals

    BRISTOL, R.I. – The Endicott women’s basketball team upset the #2 seed, Roger Williams in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Quarterfinals this evening. Highlighted by a career high 17 points from senior Katelyn Wright the Gulls soared to an impressive 73-59 victory to snap the four game losing streak to the Hawks. Endicott will march on to their four consecutive Semifinal appearance sitting at 12-14 (7-11 CCC) while Roger Williams falls to 19-7 (16-2 CCC).

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) named the women’s basketball All-CCC teams for the 2014-15 season announced by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye this morning. The Gulls saw freshman Hannah Shaw (Foxboro, Mass.) take home the Rookie of the Year honor while junior Kelsey Cuddy (Madison, Conn.) earned a spot on All-CCC First Team.
  • Gulls Fall to WNE in Regular Season Finale

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team hosted Western New England on Saturday afternoon for a Commonwealth Coast Conference regular season finale. Despite the game high 14 points from junior Kelsey Cuddy (Madison, Conn.) the Golden Bears lifted to the 52-47 victory. Endicott finishes the regular season at 11-14 (7-11 CCC) while WNE improves to 16-9 (11-7).

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team hosted Eastern Nazarene on Thursday evening for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup. After three Gulls scored in double figures Endicott soared to a 69-49 victory, highlighted by a game high 19 points, from senior Kayleen Whall (Foxboro, Mass.). Endicott improves to 11-13 (7-10 CCC) while Eastern Nazarene falls to 11-13 (9-8 CCC).
  • Gulls Fall to Wentworth on the Road in CCC Action

    BOSTON, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team traveled to Boston on Tuesday evening for face Wentworth for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) showdown. Despite the game high 16 points from junior Kelsey Cuddy (Madison, Conn.) the Leopards pulled away in the second half to secure the 44-41 victory. Endicott falls to 10-13 (6-10 CCC) while Wentworth improves to 6-18 (4-13 CCC).

    MILTON, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team traveled to Curry on Saturday afternoon for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup. Despite the game high 16 points from junior Nicole Catizone (Woburn, Mass.) the Gulls fell to the Colonels in a tight 46-42 final. Endicott drops to 10-12 (6-9 CCC) while Curry improves to 14-9 (11-5).
  • Gulls Thwarted by Nichols in CCC Showdown

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team hosted Nichols on Wednesday evening for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup. Despite freshman Hannah Shaw (Bar Harbor, Maine) tying the programs all-time record in points in a single game (31), Nichols pulled out the 81-73 overtime victory to mark their first since 2009. Endicott falls to 10-11 (6-8 CCC) while the Bison improve to 6-16 (3-12 CCC).
  • Hannah Shaw Tabs First ECAC DIII New England Rookie of the Week Honor

    DANBURY, Conn. – After receiving her third straight CCC Rookie of the Week honor, freshman Hannah Shaw (Bar Harbor, Maine) has been awarded her first Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) nod, released Tuesday morning. This marks the second ECAC honor of the season for the women’s basketball program after teammate Sam Charette (Wenham, Mass.) also garnered the weekly award back on December 17th.
  • CCC Honors Hannah Shaw for the Third Straight Week

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) released their weekly awards on Monday morning and for the third straight week, freshman Hannah Shaw (Bar Harbor, Maine) claimed the Rookie of the Week nod. Endicott went 1-1 last week with a victory over Salve Regina in overtime and a tough loss to Roger Williams. The Gulls sit at 10-10 (6-7 CCC) as they head into a week of two CCC matchups, the first playing host to Nichols on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. then a road game on Saturday at Curry at 1:00 p.m.
  • Gulls Four Game Win Streak Snapped on the Road at Roger Williams

    BRISTOL, R. I. – The Endicott women’s basketball team traveled to Roger Williams on Saturday afternoon for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup. Despite the game high 13 points from freshman Hannah Shaw (Bar Harbor, Maine) the Gulls fell in a tough 53-45 final. Endicott drops their first game of February and sit at 10-10 (6-7 CCC) while the Hawks improve to 15-6 (12-2 CCC) and hold their #2 slot in the CCC ranks.
  • Clutch Three-Pointer from Wright Gives Gulls OT Victory; Whall Hits Career 1,000th Point

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team hosted Salve Regina on Tuesday evening for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup. After a final seconds three-pointer in overtime from senior Katelyn Wright (Sudbury, Mass.), the Gulls avenged their earlier season loss and defeated the Seahawks 70-67. Also in the game senior Kayleen Whall (Foxboro, Mass.) made a career milestone as she banked her 1,000th point with her 14 point effort. Endicott improves to 10-9 (6-6 CCC) while Salve Regina falls to 11-9 (8-5 CCC).

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has released their weekly awards and the women’s basketball team swept the accolades for their 2-0 effort last week. Junior Kelsey Cuddy (Madison, Conn.) tabbed her first CCC Player of the Week nod of the season while freshman Hannah Shaw (Bar Harbor, Maine) claims her second straight Rookie of the Week honor.
  • Women's Basketball Returns to .500 after Road Win over Gordon

    WENHAM, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team won for the fourth time in their last five games and in the process brought their season record back up to .500 after the Gulls defeated CCC rival Gordon 68-52 on the road Saturday afternoon. Four of Endicott’s starters scored in double figures including junior guard Nicole Catizone (Woburn, Mass.) who scored a team-high 19 points.
  • Gulls Make Headway and Hand UNE First CCC Loss of the Season

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team hosted reining Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) champions, University of New England (UNE) on Thursday evening for their second matchup of the season. Following a 17 point effort from junior Kelsey Cuddy (Madison, Conn.) the Gulls claimed their first victory over UNE since 2012 with a 60-58 final. With the triumph, Endicott handed the Nor’easters their first CCC loss of the season which marked just the second conference loss in three seasons for UNE. Endicott improves to 8-9 (4-6 CCC) while the Nor’easters drop to 14-14 (10-1 CCC).
  • Hannah Shaw Tabs Rookie of the Week Nod for Women's Hoops

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) released their weekly awards on Monday morning and freshman Hannah Shaw (Bar Harbor, Maine) of the women’s basketball team tabbed her first Rookie of the Week nod. This marks the second Rookie of the Week honor the women’s basketball team has received this season as freshman Sam Charette (Wenham, Mass.) also tabbed the weekly award back on December 14th.

    BEVERLY, Mass. - Saturday's winter storm has postponed the Endicott men's and women's basketball doubleheader against Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) rival Eastern Nazarene. The games will be made up on Monday, January 26th with 5:30 p.m. (men) and 7:30 p.m. (women) tip-off times.

Following a 12 point effort from senior Kayleen Whall (Foxboro, Mass.) and freshman Hannah Shaw’s (Bar Harbor, Maine) second career double-double with her 11 points and 10 rebounds the Gulls edged the Leopards 59-53 to garner their first home victory of 2015. Endicott improves to 7-9 (3-6 CCC) while Wentworth falls to 4-12 (2-7 CCC).

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team suffered a 69-49 loss to CCC opponent Western New England on Saturday afternoon as their 2014-15 record fell further to 6-9 (2-6 CCC). The Gulls got 11 points from freshman guard Gabriella Coppola (Watertown, Mass.) and another 10 from forward forward Hannah Shaw (Bar Harbor, Maine) off the bench but were combatted by 20 points from Golden Bears sophomore guard Sammie Battaini (Leominster, Mass.).

    DUDLEY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team traveled to Nichols on Thursday night for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup. After a double figure game by freshmen duo, Sam Charette (Wenham, Mass.) and Hannah Shaw (Bar Harbor, Maine), the Gulls earned their first victory of 2015 with their 64-54 triumph. Endicott improves to 6-8 (2-5 CCC) while the Bison fall to 4-9 (1-5 CCC).

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team hosted Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) top dog, Curry on Saturday afternoon. After a season high, 30 points from Curry senior Kylie Beltz (Pequot Lakes, Minn.) the Colonels took the 73-53 victory over the Gulls. Endicott falls to 5-8 (1-5 CCC) while the Colonels remain undefeated in conference play at 8-4 (6-0 CCC).

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team hosted Roger Williams on Thursday evening for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) showdown. After both sides battled for 40 straight minutes the Hawks were able to edge the Gulls 71-60. Endicott falls to 5-7 (1-4 CCC) while the Hawks improve to 7-5 (4-1 CCC).

    NEWPORT, R.I. – The Endicott women’s basketball team traveled to Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) opponent Salve Regina on Tuesday afternoon to kick off CCC play in 2015. Despite the 20 points from junior Kelsey Cuddy (Madison, Conn.), Salve Regina’s, junior Meaghan Harden (Sandwich, Mass.) posted an impressive 37 points to hand the Gulls a 77-67 loss. Endicott falls to 5-6 (1-3 CCC) while the Seahawks improve to 6-5 (3-1 CCC).
  • Women's Hoops Fall to Regional Foe Brandeis in 2015 Opener

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team hosted non-conference opponent Brandeis on Saturday afternoon to kick off 2015. Despite the 17 points from junior Kelsey Cuddy (Madison, Conn.), the Judges freshman Olivia Shaw (Saco, Maine) put up 20 points to give Brandeis the 79-56 edge over the Gulls. Endicott falls to 5-5 (1-2 CCC) as the Judges improve to 8-2, 0-0 UAA).

    DANBURY, Conn. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) released their weekly awards last night and freshman Sam Charette (Wenham, Mass.) of the women’s basketball team was tabbed the Rookie of the Week. Charette was just recently named this week’s Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week on Sunday evening. This marks the first ECAC honor of the season for the women’s basketball program.

    SALEM, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team traveled to North Shore rival, Salem State on Saturday afternoon for a non-conference matchup. The Gulls opened up the game with a 12 point run and never looked back as they soared to an 89-58 victory. Endicott improves to 5-4 (1-2 CCC) heading into the New Year while the Vikings fall to 2-6 (1-2 MASCAC).

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team hosted non-conference opponent MIT on Thursday evening. With a career high 23 points from junior Nicole Catizone (Woburn, Mass.) and 22 points from junior Kelsey Cuddy (Madison, Conn.) the Gulls lifted two a 69-65 in the final seconds of the game. Endicott improves to 4-4 (1-2 CCC) while the Engineers fall to 4-5 (1-1 NEWMAC).

    QUINCY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s basketball team traveled to Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) opponent, Eastern Nazarene on Tuesday evening. Despite a career high 22 points from senior Kelsey Cuddy (Madison, Conn.) and a breakout performance by freshman Sam Charette (Wenham, Mass.) who totaled 21 points, the Gulls dropped a 95-86 decision. Endicott falls to 3-4 (1-2 CCC) while the Lions tab their first victory of the season and sit at 1-7 (1-2 CCC).
