CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Endicott men’s volleyball team improved to 8-5 (6-0 NECC) on Wednesday evening following a 3-0 (25-6, 25-15, 25-12) win over Lesley in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action.

The Gulls hit .426 as a team due in large part to six kills from sophomore Mike Coniglione (Glenville, N.Y.) and five kills from sophomore Kevin Duggan (Glastonbury, Conn.).  The 11 kills bested Lesley’s output as a team (nine kills) and led a group of 10 Endicott players that recorded kills.

Endicott’s Jeremy Siden (Natick, Mass.), Lance Pepper (Torrington, Conn.) and Carter Roche (Clifton Park, N.Y.) all tallied three kills.  Gulls senior Joshua Bruno (Andover, Mass.) added two kills but his four solo blocks paced a seven block effort by Endicott.  Bruno still leads the NECC in blocking at 1.23 blocks per set.

The Blue and Green were effective on the serve as well with 14 aces as a team.  Roche, besides contributing with five assists, three kills and two digs, also totaled five service aces.  Sophomore Brandon Chadwick (Chelmsford, Mass.) added three aces in the Endicott win.

Helping in the setting duties were senior Jeremy Schlosser (Emmaus, Pa.) and Siden who finished with 11 and six assists, respectively.  Leading in digs were Pepper and freshman Kristian Catalan (Sudbury, Mass.) who had three digs each.

For Lesley, junior Max Hoevenaar (Orlando, Fla.) paced the Lynx with six kills.  Hoevenaar also added one solo block and one assisted block in the loss.  Senior outside Christian Domingo (Los Angeles, Calif.) had a team-high four digs while adding two kills for the host Lesley.

Endicott takes its five-game winning streak into a Friday evening match against NYU at home.   That match will played at 7:00 pm in the Field House at Endicott’s Post Center.
