USILA 2015 Academic All America Release

Endicott Academic All-America History

PERRY, N.Y. – Adding to his already impressive post-season award total, Endicott senior Harrison Cotter (Lordship, Conn.) became the ninth USILA Scholar All-American in Endicott lacrosse history.  Being named a Scholar All-American is a great honor and a tremendous accomplishment that signifies the dedication and commitment these players demonstrated in the classroom and on the field.  To be named a Scholar All-American, one must be nominated by his coach and be a student with a senior academic standing and a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.  He must also be an athletic All-American, a member of a North/South team, or an outstanding league or conference player.  He must have behaved in a manner that has brought credit to himself, his institution and to college lacrosse both on and off the field.

A Business Administration major with a focus in Marketing, Cotter has been named a 2015 USILA All-America Honorable Mention and was earlier named to the 2015 NEILA Academic All-New England and the NEILA All-New England First Team for his academic and athletic performances throughout his Endicott career.  In addition to his discipline in the classroom, the senior also completed internships with the Nutmeg Adjusters and the Fairfield Board Company.

Also a three time All-CCC First Team member, Cotter earned his second USILA All-American nod following a season in which he finished fourth on the team with 53 points.  The senior midfielder also finished third on the team with 20 assists and fifth in goals with 33, ground balls with 45 and caused turnovers with 10.
