BALTIMORE, Md. – The Endicott men's lacrosse team has been ranked 14th according the 2015 Nike/Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Top 20 for NCAA Division III as it was announced today by the www.LaxMagazine.com staff. The Gulls, also preranked #11 by Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook, anxiously await their first practice of 2015 on Monday, January 26th leading up their season opener on Sunday, February 22nd at Stevens.

Endicott is coming off a 15-5 (8-0 CCC) campaign in 2014 that saw the Blue and Green earn their first-ever at-large bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament. Endicott hosted Keene State in the opening round of the national tournament and won 13-10 to advance into the Second Round where they took on the eventual NCAA champions Tufts. It was the program's fourth trip into the NCAA Second Round having previously played there in 2005, 2010, and 2011.

Three players received USILA All-American honors for their efforts last spring including Third Team midfielder Harrison Cotter (Lordship, Conn.) and Honorable Mention winners, goalie Cameron Bell (Falmouth, Maine) and defenseman Breck Merritt (Weston, Mass.). Cotter and Bell, the reigning CCC Players of their Year on both offense and defense, are back for their senior and junior seasons, respectively. Nine All-CCC honorees from the 2014 team are back for another run at the program's eighth conference title this spring.

Tufts claims the top spot in the Nike/Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Top 20 followed by Rochester, Salisbury, Washington College, and Stevenson to round out the top five.
