  • 49 Endicott Student-Athletes Named CCC Spring Academic All-Conference

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has announced its Spring Academic All-Conference Team, which includes 439 student-athletes from all 10-member institutions. The Academic All-Conference honor rewards varsity student-athletes who attain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher. The Spring Academic All-Conference Team encompasses student-athletes who participated in baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, men's tennis and softball. Those institutions that sponsor invitational sports like swimming & diving and track & field are also included.

The pair led the way for four total All-CCC accolades as announced by the Office of the Commissioner on Thursday.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Led by senior Austin Teal’s (Loudonville, N.Y.) three-over round of 75 at the Western New England Invitational, the Endicott golf team finished third in the ten team field. The invitational was the last tune-up for the Gulls before the two-day Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) championship begins next Friday, April 29.

    WARWICK, R.I. – The Endicott men’s golf team tied for sixth place overall out of 16 teams in the Rhode Island College (RIC) Invitational this weekend. Only scores from Friday’s first round were recorded as Saturday’s portion of the invitational was cancelled due to inclement weather.

    BEVERLY, Mass.- Competing in the final competition of the fall season, the Endicott men's golf team finished tied for ninth out of 22 teams at the NEIGA DIII Championships held at The Captains Course in Brewster, Mass. The Gulls were led by Dan Negus (Pembroke, Mass.) and Austin Teal (Loudonville, N.Y.) as the duo finished in a tie for 28th.

    Kennebunkport, Maine- In a rain shortened UNE Invitational, the Endicott men’s golf team finished second in the four team field, just three strokes back of Saint Joseph’s College. Endicott now travels to Southwick, Mass. to compete in the two day ECAC DIII New England Championships this weekend.

    BROOKLINE, Mass.- Behind a 20-over 304, the Endicott golf team finished three shots off the winning score to take home a season opening third place finish on Thursday at the Newbury Kickoff Classic. The Gulls finished three strokes back of Castleton (+17) and one back of Babson (+19) while defeating Elms (+51) and host Newbury (+66).

    BEVERLY, Mass.- Heading into the 2015-16 season, the Endicott men’s golf program will be looking to reclaim the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) title that eluded them in 2014-15 for the first time in the last four years. The men begin their season on Thursday, September 3 at the Putterham Meadow Golf Club in Chestnut Hill, Mass. for a dual meet against Newbury. The Gulls will compete in eight invitationals in the fall which are highlighted by the CCC Championship Qualifier on October 8 at the Halifax Country Club and the prestigious three day NEIGA Championships that start on Saturday, October 24.
