Gulls Continue Upward Trajectory In National Rankings

POLLS: AFCA | D3FOOTBALL.COM

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott football team has moved up one spot in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and D3football.com polls.

Endicott was selected a program-best No. 20 overall in the D3football.com poll on Sunday evening and No. 21 overall in the AFCA poll on Monday afternoon, marking the program's highest ranking ever from the latter organization.

The Gulls are also the only team from New England to earn a national ranking this season.

Additionally, Endicott was picked as the top team in the first Grinold Chapter New England Division III poll released this Monday.

The Blue and Green highlight a group of three Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) teams represented in the poll.

Defensively, Endicott ranks inside the top-10 nationally in four categories including passing yards allowed (4th, 91.8), scoring defense (4th, 6.0), team passing efficiency defense (8th, 78.28), and total defense (6th, 197.2).

All four of those statistical categories are tops in the CCC.
