Dance Program Wins 13th Straight New England Regional Title

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott dance team captured its 13th straight New England Regional title on Sunday evening, hosted by Dance Team Union on the College's campus.

Endicott won pom (91.77) and jazz (90.30), finishing almost five points ahead of the runner-up in each discipline.

The Gulls also received the "Wow Factor" award for their pom routine and were crowned grand champions of the entire competition, besting teams such as Bentley, Worcester State, Springfield, Dean, and Cortland for the honor.

"I am so happy for our team that they finished their competition season on top and at home. No one is more deserving than this group," said Endicott dance head coach Nicole Sao Pedro-Welch M'12. "These dancers are phenomenal and I am in awe each time I watch them perform. We are proud to bring home our 13th consecutive win for the Gulls!"
