What to Watch For: Fall 2024 Endicott Athletics

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott athletics fall 2024 slate is fully underway. Here's a guide on what to watch out for in this year's action.

NOTE: The data provided is based on statistical outcomes that have the potential to happen versus making predictions, therefore, it does not include all sports.

MEN'S SPORTS

FOOTBALL

  • Endicott football graduate student quarterback Clayton Marengi (Lynnfield, Mass.) ranks 5th all-time in career rushing touchdowns (15). He needs two more to crack the top three all-time (17), and seven more to crack the top two (22).
  • Graduate wide receiver Shane Aylward (Tewksbury, Mass.) already ranks first all-time in career receiving yards (2,084). He needs just seven more receptions to become the program's all-time leading pass catcher with 154. He also needs nine touchdown receptions to tie the program record of 27.
  • Graduate defensive lineman Colin Meropolous (Monroe, Conn.) needs just 1.5 sacks to tie the program record of 23.5 career sacks.
  • Head Coach Paul McGonagle is five wins away from his 50th career win with the Gulls.

MEN'S SOCCER

  • Graduate forward Tiago Frazao (Trumbull, Conn.) is just two goals away from breaking into the program's top three all-time (21), and five away from the top two (24).
  • Graduate midfielder Max Karkos (Wethersfield, Conn.) ranks T-4th all-time in program history in game-winning goals (five). He needs just two more this season to tie for second-most in program history (seven).

WOMEN'S SPORTS

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL

  • Senior setter Savannah Cambell (Soquel, Calif.) is currently ranked 10th all-time in career assists. (720 assists in 108 sets). She needs 280 more assists to become the ninth Gull in program history with 1,000 assists.
  • Freshman setter Hannah Maguire (San Jose, Calif.) has already recorded 40+ assists in four matches this season, twice reaching a career-high 54 (8/30, WPI; 9/13, No. 11 Trinity Tex.). With her 328 assists thus far, she is on pace for 984 in the season. The program single-season record for a freshman is 1,141, which came from Meghan Hall '08 in 2004.
  • Senior libero Emma Ruel (Duxbury, Mass.) recently eclipsed the 1,000 dig mark in her career. She currently sits just outside the program's top 10 in digs all-time– she needs about 250 digs to make her way into the top 10.
  • Hadley Helenbrook (Atlanta, Ga.) ranks first all-time in program history for points per set (3.78). Through her first nine matches this season, the sophomore has already recorded four 20-plus kill matches, including a 27 kill performance (T-3rd most in program history) against No. 11 Trinity Tex. on September 13. The program's single-match record for kills is 29, which is well within reach for the sophomore this season.

WOMEN'S SOCCER

  • Senior forward Riley Rischitelli (North Brookfield, Mass.) is closing in on the top 10 goal scorers in program history. She has 19 career goals, and needs seven more to enter the top 10 goal scorers list.
  • Senior goalkeeper Rosalina Caliri (East Greenwich, R.I.) ranks fourth in program history in shutouts (21.2). She needs 8 more shutouts this season to break the program record in shutouts. Additionally, Caliri needs 14 more wins to break into the top three in program history in the wins category.
  • Head Coach Jodi Kenyon is closing in on her 250th career win at Endicott in her 20th season with the program. After Tuesday evening's match versus Babson, she holds a record of 243-98-44 with the Gulls.

FIELD HOCKEY

  • Junior midfielder Tori Swanson (Farmington, Conn.) currently ranks 10th all-time in career points with 91. She needs 15 points to crack the top five, and 37 to break into the top three. After her recent hot-streak which included a four-goal performance against No. 13 MIT, the junior has netted 42 career goals, which ranks seventh all-time in program history. She needs 10 more goals to enter the top three, and 21 to overtake the program record.
  • Junior forward Maddy Dengler (Winchester, Mass.) is also within reach of the top 10 points leaders in Endicott program history. She currently has 77 career points, placing her just 14 away from the top 10. She needs just three assists to enter the top 10 in that category as well, and is seven assists shy of the top five. She is also on the doorstep of the top 10 in career goals scored, as her 31 goals place her just six away from the top 10.

WOMEN'S TENNIS

  • The program is in search of its fourth consecutive conference championship. Assistant coach Ibadat Javed will step in as Interim Head Coach following Head Coach Tony D'Angelo's departure from the program next Thursday, Septmeber 26.

WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

  • Endicott women's cross country is regionally ranked for the first time in program history.
