BY THE NUMBERS: What To Watch For Down The Stretch This Fall

BEVERLY, Mass. – Records are meant to be broken, so they say. With that being said, or in this case written, here are some things to keep an eye on as the Gulls head into postseason play.

FIELD HOCKEY

24 – Kristen McCarthy (Danvers, Mass.) is one goal away from tying the single season record. The Gulls have two games left in the regular season before playoffs start on Thursday, November 1.

62 & 14 – The current records McCarthy holds this season for most points and most assists in a season, respectively.

2 – Points needed by McCarthy to tie for 10th all-time on the career points list at Endicott.

12 – Taylor Farrin's (Danvers, Mass.) current win total that ranks tied for sixth all-time in a single season. The all-time record is 17 set by Chelsea DeFeo (17-4-0) in 2008.

28 – Farrin needs one more win to move into third place all-time on the career wins list.

207 – The second most amount of points scored by a team in a single season, which belongs to this year's current group. The all-time record is 208, which was set last year.

82 – The highest goal total registered in a single season, which belongs to this year's current group.


FOOTBALL

81 – Joe Kalosky (Plymouth, Conn.) needs 81 more yards to surpass Phil Konopka for the ninth most passing yards in a single season. Kalosky currently has thrown for 1,198 yards this season.

170 – The number of passing yards Kalosky needs over the next two games to reach the 5,000 yards passing career plateau.

8 – Shea McManaway's (Lisbon, Conn.) current receiving TDs total. McManaway ranks tied for fourth all-time in a single season in the category and is one away from tying Ryan Carino for third all-time (nine total, 2011).

12 – The total amount of field goals Nick DiCairano (Trumbull, Conn.) has made this season. DiCairano is currently fourth all-time in a single season for most field goals made and two away from tying Dylan Rushe for second all-time (14, 2013 & 2010).

92.3% - DiCairano's field goal percentage this season. It currently ranks first all-time and is the only field goal percentage above 90% in a single season in the record books.

1 – Jesse Simoni (East Greenbush, N.Y.) needs one more pass breakup or interception to move into a tie for third all-time in a single season in passes defended. Simoni currently has broken up 10 passes and recorded two interceptions in 2018.

232.9 – Through eight games, Endicott's rushing offense ranks second all-time in a single season in rushing yards per game.

3,581 – Endicott's total offensive yards accumulated through eight games, which ranks seventh all-time in a single season.


MEN'S SOCCER

31 – Evan Couchot's (Mason, Ohio) current 2018 points total, which ranks second all-time behind Mike Francis' 46 points in 1998.

18 – Couchot also is three goals away from tying Francis' single season goals record of 18 (also 1998).

4 – The most amount of penalty kicks made in a single season, set by Couchot this year.

3 – The total number of games played that Conner Couchot (Mason, Ohio) will need over the remainder of the season to tie Brendan McLaughlin's mark of 80, which ranks second all-time behind Ryan Cohane's 85 games played in program history. C. Couchot also ranks second all-time in games started with 77 behind Cohane (85).

73 – Bobby Ivatts' (Walpole, Mass.) career games played total. He is one game shy of tying Abdulla Al Khalifa for the seventh most games played in program history.


WOMEN'S SOCCER

0.72 – Kayla Wentworth's (Taunton, Mass.) current goals against average, which ranks fifth all-time in a single season (min. 750 minutes played).

20.76 – The Gulls' shots per game total through 17 games. It currently ranks sixth all-time in program history.

1 – Endicott needs one more win to record at least 10 victories in a season for the 22nd time in the program's illustrious history. From 1997-2014, the Gulls rattled off 18 straight seasons with at least 10 wins.


WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL

988 – Zoey Gifford (Natick, Mass.) ranks ninth all-time in a single season in assists with 988. She needs nine more assists to move into eighth place all-time. Overall, Endicott has only had seven instances in its program history where a student-athlete have recorded 1,000 assists or more in a single season (based upon available data).

11.91 – Endicott's current assists per set total ranks first all-time in a single season, at the moment.

1276.0 – Emma Mancini (Lynnfield, Mass.) currently ranks seventh all-time in program history in points at 1276.0 (1121k, 100a, 15-80b).

4 – The Gulls are four wins away from registering their 14th 20-win season in program history. From 2004-2008, Endicott posted five 20-win seasons in a row and also compiled a record of 128-62 (.525) during that span.
