Endicott To Celebrate 25 Years Of Men’s & Women’s NCAA Division III Athletics

BEVERLY, Mass. – During the entire 2018-19 academic year, the Endicott Athletics & Recreation Department will celebrate 25 years of men's and women's athletics at the NCAA Division III level. This landmark achievement will be commemorated throughout the year via special events, alumni spotlights, giveaways, and much more. The entire Endicott community is excited to honor our student-athletes' successes over the past 25 years by recognizing their countless outstanding achievements, endorsing current and former student-athletes, and expressing our excitement for the future of our athletic programs. 


ENDICOTT ATHLETICS HISTORY

Endicott began competing at the NCAA Division III level in 1993. The first programs to compete at the NCAA Division III level include field hockey, women's soccer, women's tennis, and women's volleyball in the fall of 1993. Those programs were followed by women's basketball (1993-94) and softball (1994). 
 
Meanwhile, the first men's programs to begin competition at the NCAA Division III level during the 1994-95 academic year were men's cross country (1994), men's soccer (1994), men's basketball (1994-95), and baseball (1995).
