Women’s Cross Country Wins Pop Crowell Invitational

WENHAM, Mass. — The Endicott women's cross country team finished first overall out of five teams at the Pop Crowell Invitational, hosted by Gordon College, on Sunday afternoon.

Endicott's pack running was the difference as the Gulls placed their entire top-5 within the top-10 spots of the 6-kilometer race to best the field with 36 points.

Hartford (53), Gordon (61), Emerson (92), and Wentworth (139) followed in respective order.

Individually, Cailin Lawlor (Wrentham, Mass.) ranked fourth overall with a time of 23:18.

Sofia Moukaddem (Weston, Mass.) checked in at fifth overall (23:25), while Hannah Shepard (Keene, N.H.), Alexa Suchy (Guilford, Conn.), and Gwen Catalano (Buxton, Maine) rounded out the rest of Endicott's scoring lineup in 8th (23:58), 9th (24:17), and 10th (24:34), respectively.

  • Best-ever finish at the Pop Crowell Invitational (based upon available data).
  • Lawlor, Moukaddem, Shepard, Suchy, and Catalano posted the fastest all-time top-5 average in a 6-kilometer race in program history (23:54).
  • The Gulls saw Lawlor, Moukaddem, Suchy, Catalano, Corinne Robert (Mattapoisett, Mass.), Allie DeVoe (Ridgefield, Conn.), Heather McDougall (Portland, Conn.), Teagan Shaughnessy (Watertown, Mass.), Sophia Dill (Uxbridge, Mass.), and Makenna Hubert (Rutland, Vt.) all post personal bests.
