BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's cross country team opens up its 2023 season on Friday, September 1 in the "Battle of the North Shore" at 4:30 PM in nearby Wenham. Here's a preview of the upcoming season.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Endicott is 4-1 overall versus Gordon in the "Battle of the North Shore" since the dual meet series was created in 2017.
- Cate Herndon (Westwood, Mass.), Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.), and Catherine Schultz (North Kingstown, R.I.) have been named captains for the 2023 season.
- All six races on the schedule this season will take place less than two hours away from campus.
- Last fall, the Gulls finished fourth at the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship and 13th overall out of 35 teams at the NCAA Division III East Regionals Championship.
- This year's roster (17) features two seniors, five juniors, two sophomores, and eight freshmen.
