ROUND ROCK, Texas – Five members of the Endicott women's rugby team helped the Colonial Coast Rugby Conference (CCRC) 7s All-Star squad capture the National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) Small College All-Stars Championship last weekend.

Katelyn Gemmell (Andover, Mass.), Peyton Gilson (Newport, Vt.), Colleen Mitchell (Glastonbury, Conn.), and Bailey Tymeson (Westfield, Mass.) all made their impact felt on the pitch, while Gulls' head coach Carly Baker guided the CCRC All-Star squad from the sidelines.

After fighting its way through pool play, CCRC dethroned the reigning champion Eastern Pennsylvania (EPRU), 15-0, to claim the Small College All-Stars title on Sunday.

Tymeson shined in the championship match scoring the opening and final try in the victory. She also had one try in the semifinals giving her three total in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Mitchell came up clutch for the CCRC when she scored the winning try in pool play, keeping the team in the running for top-4, at the time.

The CCRC squad was resilient all weekend, rallying from sixth place to eventually winning the championship.
