No. 1 Women's Rugby Handles Plymouth State, 60-0

BEVERLY, Mass. – The No. 1 nationally ranked Endicott women's rugby team defeated Plymouth State, 60-0, on a rainy Saturday afternoon at Hempstead Stadium.

Caitlin Kane (Shrewsbury, Mass.) was named the player of the match for her attacking runs and tough leadership on the field.

Tess Merrill (Greenwich, N.Y.) led the offense with three tries in the win. 

Sarah Corcoran (Westborough, Mass.), Cai Machuga (Dennis, Mass.), Chloe Marconi (North Andover, Mass.), Caitlin Padeck (Easthampton, Mass.), Marin Shaffer (Keene, N.H.), Brooke Stoncius (Litchfield, N.H.), and Kane each chipped in with a try of their own.

Rounding out the scoring was Caitlin Padeck (Easthampton, Mass.) with a game-high five conversions.

No. 1 Endicott (5-0, 4-0 CCRC) will face No. 14 Salve Regina in the CCRC Championship on Sunday, October 29 at 3:30 PM.
