No. 1 Women’s Rugby Thumps No. 9 Salve Regina On Senior Day, 60-12

BEVERLY, Mass. – The No. 1 nationally ranked Endicott women's rugby team defeated No. 9 Salve Regina, 60-12, on Sunday afternoon at Hempstead Stadium.

Prior to the match, seniors Sarah Corcoran (Westborough, Mass.), Jackie Damato (Burlington, Mass.), Katelyn Gemmell (Andover, Mass.), Peyton Gilson (Newport, Vt.), Caitlin Kane (Shrewsbury, Mass.), and Bailey Tymeson (Westfield, Mass.) and were all honored for their contributions to the women's rugby program and the Endicott community.

Tess Merrill (Greenwich, N.Y.) highlighted the Gulls with four tries and one conversion.

Colleen Mitchell (Glastonbury, Conn.) and Gemmell also found scored twice, while Carolina Stubbs (Newtown, Conn.) and Chloe Marconi (North Andover, Mass.) added one try apiece.

Rounding out the scoring was Caitlin Padeck (Easthampton, Mass.) with a game-high four conversions.

Endicott (4-0, 3-0 CCRC) hosts Plymouth State on Saturday, October 21 at 1 PM.
