NCR REGIONALS: No. 1 Women's Rugby Downs Colby, 27-12

HENNIKER, N.H. – The No. 1 nationally ranked Endicott women's rugby team defeated Colby, 27-12, on Saturday afternoon at National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) Regionals.

Peyton Gilson (Newport, Vt.) was awarded the game ball today after the victory.

Tess Merrill (Greenwich, N.Y.) led the offense with two tries in the win. Meanwhile, Brooke Stoncius (Litchfield, N.H.), Chloe Marconi (North Andover, Mass.), and Tegan O'Donnell (Calais, Vt.) all recorded one try as well.

Rounding out the scoring was Caitlin Padeck (Easthampton, Mass.) who added one conversion.

WHAT'S NEXT

No. 1 Endicott will now travel to Houston, Texas for the NCR Final Four where they will take on St. Bonaventure on Saturday, December 2 at 11 AM EST inside the AVEVA Stadium.
