Emily Hoffman Named CCC Softball Player Of The Week

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott senior catcher Emily Hoffman (Malden, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Softball Player of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today.

In a 6-2 week (18-24) for the Gulls, Hoffman posted a stellar .700 batting average in eight games as she collected 14 hits in 20 at-bats, and hit safely in every single game to extend her hitting streak to eight games.

Hoffman also tallied seven extra-bases hits on two doubles, four triples, and one home run, and recorded 12 RBIs along with scoring 14 runs. Additionally, Hoffman walked nine times, stole two bases and struck out just once while recording 29 put outs with one assist and only one error in 31 total chances.

Endicott (19-14, 12-4 CCC) closes out its 2016 regular season schedule today with a pair of conference games against Nichols College at home.
