Three Gulls Earns All-Conference Honors

CCC All-Conference Release

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has released the 2014 Men's Tennis All-Conference Team. Three Gulls found their way to accolades as the Blue and Green wrapped up an impressive regular season at 8-7 (6-2 CCC). The men's tennis team earned the #3 slot in the upcoming CCC Tournament where they will face #6 Wentworth this afternoon in the quarterfinals at 12:00 p.m.

Senior Evan Ross (Worcester, Mass.) made his second appearance on the All-Conference squad this year earning a place on Second Team Singles. Ross competes in the #1 slot for the Gulls as he has compiled a 7-7 overall record, while going 5-2 in the CCC.

Along with Ross, #1 doubles partner, sophomore Michael Dolph (Stratford, Conn.) earned a spot on the Second Team Doubles for their impressive 7-5 overall record while going 5-2 in conference play in the #1 spot.

Dolph also earned Honorable Mention Singles honors for his 7-7 (5-2 CCC) record. Dolph saw most of his action in the #3 slot for the Blue and Green this season. Joining Dolph with Honorable Mention Singles honors is junior Timothy Forance (Natick, Mass.).  Forance controls the #2 slot for the Endicott men's tennis team and has compiled a 5-7 overall record going 3-4 in conference play. This marks the second straight year for Forance with Honorable Mention Singles accolades.
