BEVERLY, Mass. - Curry College was able to score three unanswered goals in the second half as they came back from a 1-0 halftime deficit to defeat Endicott College, 3-1, in TCCC action on Saturday night. The win moves the Colonels to 10-2-2 (6-1-1 TCCC) on the season while the loss drops the Gulls to 3-9-1 (3-5-1 TCCC) thus far. Curry's Benjamin Radzicki (Sterling, Mass.) had the game-tying and go-ahead goals for Curry in the second half to beat Endicott.

The first half started off as a defensive battle for both sides. The teams traded possessions back and forth as neither team was able to come close on their attempts. Finally, with 15 minutes to play in the first half, senior Kyle Schmutte (Wilbraham, Mass.) was able to take a cross from fellow senior Benjamin Graves (Peterborough, N.H.) and blast a goal past the outstretched hands of Curry's net-minder. The rest of the half would revert back to the pace of the game as the teams just exchanged possession back and forth.

The second half would appear to be headed in the same direction until Curry's Radzicki was able to take a cross from teammate Jeff Shea (Canton, Mass.) and head the ball into the back of the net to deadlock the game at one a piece. Nearly :14 minutes later, Radzicki struck again, this time corralling a pass from freshman Marc Santos (East Hartford, Conn.) and putting it past Endicott's Jack DeJesus (Swampscott, Mass.). Senior defensemen Johnjoe Hallissey (Boston, Mass.) would put the game away for good with four minutes remaining to seal a come-from-behind victory for the Colonels by a score of 3-1.

Curry goalkeeper Brian Newsome (Lawrenceville, N.J.) picked up the victory for the visiting team by making five saves while facing 12 shots. Endicott's DeJesus was able to make five saves as well on 12 shots as he picked up his second straight loss on the season.

The Blue and Green return to the pitch on Tuesday in TCCC action as they travel to Dudley, Massachusetts for a meeting with Nichols at 4:00 p.m. Curry will continue its season on Monday as they travel Lesley College for a non-conference matchup at 8:00 p.m.
