BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's basketball team fell to Suffolk, 70-69, in conference action on Saturday evening at MacDonald Gymnasium.
Jeff Hill (Lynn, Mass.) led all scorers with a career-high 27 points (11-17 FG, 2-5 3PT, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block.
Jalen Echevarria (Lynn, Mass.) also notched 11 points, while Elijah Kinney (Nashville, Tenn.) and Drew Brown (Pelham, N.H.) contributed nine points apiece.
Trailing 69-64 with 3:35 to play, Suffolk mounted a last-minute comeback by scoring six unanswered points including the dagger with 4-seconds to play on a contested alley-oop to steal a win on the road.
Endicott led for 27:49 in the contest, while the Rams only held an advantage on the scoreboard for 4:54 worth of action throughout the matchup.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Suffolk is 6-1 on the road this season.
- The Rams have won four straight games, three coming away from Boston.
- The largest lead of the game was only nine points (Endicott, 2Q, 12:09, 56-47).
