BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott Men's Basketball freshman forward Elijah Kinney (Nashville, Tenn.) has been named the first Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week in the 2023-24 season, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Kinney highlighted the Gulls' season-opening effort against Tufts on Sunday, November 12, as he dropped 13 points on 5-10 shooting from the field (2-7 3PM) in his 29 minutes of play.
He also led Endicott's effort on the glass, pulling down eight rebounds in the contest. His defense was on display throughout, as he accumulated two steals and two blocks in the team's 78-63 season-opener loss.
This is Kinney's first career CCC Rookie of the Week award.

Endicott (0-1) hosts MIT (1-1) on Wednesday at 7 PM in MacDonald Gymnasium for its second game of the 2023-24 season.
