BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott men's basketball forward Elijah Kinney (Nashville, Tenn.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for Men's Basketball, as announced by the league office earlier today.
Kinney averaged 16.5 points, 11 rebounds, a steal, and a block in Endicott's two wins against UNE and Wentworth.
In the Gulls' conference opener at UNE on Tuesday, Kinney scored 14 points (5-11 FG), secured 18 rebounds, blocked two shots, and swiped two steals in a 107-91 Endicott victory. His 18 rebounds were tied for fourth most in program single-game history.
On Saturday, Kinney was an important piece of Endicott's 19 point 94-85 comeback win against Wentworth. He dropped 19 points (8-9 FG, 2-2 3PT) and snagged four rebounds in his 18 minutes of play for the Blue and Green.
This is Kinney's second CCC Rookie of the Week award this season (11/13/2023).

Endicott (4-3, 2-0 CCC) looks to build off its two game winning streak as it travels to Suffolk (4-2, 1-1 CCC) for a 7:30 PM tipoff on Tuesday, December 5.
