CCC Field Hockey Championship - Interactive Bracket

Springfield, Mass. – The Endicott field hockey team will take their 9-10, (6-6 CCC) record into the CCC Tournament as the #3 seed as the Gulls will travel across town to face #2 Gordon (15-5, 10-2 CCC)on Wednesday, November 6th for the semifinal round at 4:00 p.m.

The Gulls are heading into the playoffs as two-time reining conference champions. Last season the Blue and Green beat Nichols on North field in the championship match in an overtime thriller. In 2011 Endicott again gave an overtime victory against the University of New England.

During their two regular season meetings this fall, Gordon has beaten the Gulls for the first time since 2007. The first came at Gordon when the Fighting Scots upset the Gulls 3-0, then when they entered Blue and Green territory the Scots got the best of Endicott in a tough 3-2 overtime loss.

The matchup will be a repeat of last years Semifinal match as the Scots almost ousted the Gulls from the tournament, but the Blue and Green were able to take care of business and knock out the Scots 2-1 in overtime on North Field.

The top seed in the tournament will be the University of New England who went 13-5, (11-0 CCC) during the regular season. The Nor'easters will host Nichols (6-12, 6-6 CCC) in the Semifinal match on Wednesday as well. The winners of both contests will meet in the CCC Championship on Saturday, November 9th.
